Therefore, BEKER® Laboratories could legally develop the generic version as it has done for over 100 products of its portfolio.

Yes they are. In regards to the treatment against Hepatitis C, Sofo® 400 is the generic drug of Sovaldi® made by Gilead and Sofosled® the one of Harvoni®. Sofos® and Sofosled® were registered and accredited by the Algerian Ministry of Health and were controlled and approved by the National Pharmaceutical Control Laboratory (LNCPP) which is the WHO (World Health Organization) reference laboratory for African countries; and received the free market authorization.

Yes, we can. Drugs in Algeria are regulated and under the stringent control of the LNCPP (National Laboratory of Control of Pharmaceutical Products). The LNCPP is the equivalent of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the USA or the EMA (European Medical Agency) in Europe.

The molecule sofosbuvir has demonstrated efficacy for patients from genotype 1, 2, 3.4, 5 and 6, according to specific and suitable protocols for each genotype relative to the co-administration of other drugs (ribaverine, peg interferon or other interferon-free) as well as an adapted duration of treatment (read the leaflet for more information).

Yes, it is. Sofosled® in an interferon-free (without interferon), meaning that it does not need a combination with a Peg interferon to be efficient. One tablet taken orally once a day during 12 weeks eradicate the VHC with a proven 97% efficacy rate.

No, you can’t. These products are provided free-of-charge to Algerian patients. Therefore, they are accessible only in treatment clinics/centers, which receive it through the Centrak Pharmacy of Hospitals. These product are not for sale in private pharmacies. Yes, we can. As far as we have copy of a valid prescription, we are allowed to sell and ship you the medication.
